A few other items available for the in-game currency too, though they're a touch more expensive. Store is small right now, only one bundle in there that costs Premium currency and it's really cheap at like 2 or 3 dollars. They also added a few new characters that weren't in the beta, which is cool. The notes mention if you buy the Premium Racing Pass but not the Upgraded Version then you can't buy the Upgrade later. Upgraded Pass which gives you a boost in the track is only 10 bucks so it's not a bad investment either. Might be different ones in Speed Mode or locked behind higher licenses/some other system. Tracks are also pretty basic in layout, at least in Item Mode. At the very least, they didn't lock the Manual Drift behind the licenses like in the Beta so that's nice. I'm not sure if these are locked behind the Licenses now or what. The launch version seems to have a few things missing that were in the beta, like boost drifts (Heard this might be in Speed mode, but I only fooled around in Item Mode) and the ability to upgrade your karts stats. Also based on the Steam version and not mobile. I only spent time in Item Mode since I prefer the chaos, and only played for about an hour so it'll be a quick and dirty rundown. Figured I'd check out the Launch version and see if my thoughts changed. I played the beta and felt kinda meh about it overall. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban. ![]() ![]() Please report posts containing spoilers unless they are hidden using the following method or are inside a thread clearly labeled as containing spoilers.
